Foreigner. D-10 visa. I am being investigated as a suspect (피혐의자) in an alleged assault case.
That night I drunk and visited two clubs. At some point my memory becomes unclear. I only remember brief flashes of police officers outside asking for my ID, checking it, returning it, and letting me go home. I do not remember any assault.

I attended the police interview and answered only with what I actually remembered, without speculating. The alleged victim claims I got angry and hit him, injuring his forehead, but the officer said there is currently no proof of injury. The victim also claims he was on a LINE video call at the time and may try to obtain footage, and that he has a friend as witness.
The police showed me one video from that night, but it only showed me talking with one of the victim’s friends. The officer had not yet checked CCTV. He said the victim is willing to settle only before CCTV is reviewed. I did not admit guilt or agree to settle. The officer is waiting my decision
